Aultman Deuble Heart and Vascular Hospital - Cardiovascular Consultants is the largest and most comprehensive cardiovascular group in our seven-county region. As a full-service cardiology group, we specialize in electrophysiology (EP), interventional cardiology, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, heart failure and structural heart disease.
Our specialists provide consultations, treat medical aspects of heart disease and heart rhythm issues and perform diagnostic cardiac tests and procedures. In addition, the group includes these specialties:
- Clinical cardiology - the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease
- Interventional cardiology – the treatment of blockages in the blood vessels of the heart by performing angioplasty and placing stents to help keep the blood vessel open
- Specialized heart failure care
- Electrophysiology (EP) - specialization in the electrical system of the heart including the diagnosis and treatment of heart-rhythm abnormalities
We provide assessments for structural heart disease and identify opportunities for minimally invasive procedures for patients who are not candidates for open heart surgery. These minimally invasive procedures include:
- Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) for severe aortic stenosis
- Left atrial appendage closure/WATCHMAN for atrial fibrillation (AFib) patients who are not suitable for long term anticoagulation and are at high risk for a cerebrovascular accident
- Mitral clip for severe mitral regurgitation
- Patent foramen ovale and atrial septal defect closure
- Mitral valvuloplasty for severe mitral valve stenosis
All Cardiovascular Consultants physicians are board certified in cardiology, while our specialist medical staff also includes advanced practice providers.
Our main office is in Canton at Aultman Hospital, with satellite offices in Alliance, Apple Creek, Bolivar, Carrollton, Coshocton, Dover, Hartville, Louisville, Massillon, Millersburg, Minerva, Newcomerstown, North Canton, Orrville, Salem and Sebring. We are also offering office visits for established patients of the practice on our mobile heart unit in Brewster, Canal Fulton, Strasburg and Waynesburg.
