Comprehensive, multidisciplinary orthopedic care and sports medicine treatment from consultation and surgery through rehabilitation.
Aultman Orthopedics and Sports Medicine is meeting the needs of orthopedic patients and athletes like no other facility in Northeast Ohio. We offer a multidisciplinary approach to diagnosing, treating and rehabilitating patients in the only Planetree facility in the region, making us Person-Center Care Certified based on quality, compassion and a true partnership with the patient to improve their lives.
We are a full-service orthopedics, sports medicine and physical rehabilitation institute working in collaboration with board-certified physiatrists and internists and physical/occupational therapists. Additionally, Aultman Orthopedics and Sports Medicine is supported by Aultman Alliance Community Hospital, an acute care facility offering the latest imaging and diagnostic technology and expertise to the city of Alliance and its surrounding areas.
For those who require orthopedic surgery, muscle or joint pain maintenance and control, sports injury care or muscle and function-building physical therapy, Aultman Orthopedics and Sports Medicine can help them get back to a more active, normal life with our help from the first consultation to surgery and all the way through rehabilitation.
We have several providers spanning various areas of expertise and interest to treat a wide variety of orthopedics and sports medicine problems. In addition our 3 physician assistants, Christopher Boatwright PA-C, Ryan Carroll, PA-C and Brant Miller, PA-C are certified.
Aultman Orthopedics and Sports Medicine performs ultrasound guided injection, which allows direct visualization of the procedure in the office and the associated anatomy for increased safety and efficacy, along with a new ultrasound technique for Iovera injections prior to having a total knee replacement to "freeze away pain" for up to 4 months, resulting in better movement and less need for pain medications after surgery.
Other services at Aultman Orthopedics and Sports Medicine include concussion management, including IMPACT testing non-operative joint preservation; knee and shoulder arthroscopy; shoulder, hip and knee replacements (both partial and full) and minimally invasive total hip replacements; as well as fracture care and general orthopedic and sports medicine treatment for shoulders, knees, hips and hands.
